Lancaster Computer Company is not responsible for any data loss that may occur in shipping, during the repair, or at any other time. It is the customer’s responsibility to create a backup of his or her data prior to bringing the computer in.

Purchase Order Requirements

All purchase orders will need to be approved prior to being mailed, faxed, or emailed in. Our terms are always 30 days once it has been approved.

Cancellation

Once we diagnose your repair we will contact you with the appropriate estimate. If you do not respond to this within 10 days your repair will be considered declined and you may be charged a diagnostic fee of $80.00, plus any shipping and handling to return the unit to you. Though we understand that you may decide not to have your machine serviced, we still require the $80.00 diagnostic fee. The machine will be returned to you as is.

Shipping

All shipping from us will be  insured and requires a signature upon delivery. All laptops must be shipped in a qualified portable computer shipping container, which we can provide for a $30.00 fee. We reserve the right to choose shipping handlers, but special requests can always be made.

Data recovery costs vary depending on time, materials, and amount of data to be backed up. We will communicate with you on a storage method. Our minimum data recovery fee is $80.00.

Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. We do charge a return check fee of $25.00
